Accidentally delete photos on your iPhone or iPad certainly make you crazy. Previously, you would think they just gone. But now we have a chance to get them back.
Apple has released iOS 8 beta to developers for digging around and discover new features a few days ago. If you have downloaded and installed the iOS 8, you may found that the Photo app has two new folders named ‘Recently Added’ and ‘Recently Deleted’ under Albums. As the name suggests, the photos you just got is in the ‘Recently Added’ folder while the other folder ‘Recently Deleted’ temporarily keeps the photos you have recently deleted. So, if you have just deleted your photos or images by accident, you can easily recover them.
If the photos you want to recover are not inside this folder, you can try to recover them from your iTunes backup, as long as they have been backed up before. Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Open the iPhone Backup Extractor software, switch to ‘Recover from iTunes Backup File’ on the top. Then you can see all your iTunes backup files of your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch which has ever synced with iTunes (iTunes will automatically back up your devices when syncing). Select the one you want and click ‘Start Scan’ to extract it.
Step 2: When the scan is completed, you can preview all the data that the iTunes backup file contains. They are sorted by file types. You may see the deleted photos under Photos & Videos category. Mark the photos you want and click the “Recover” button to save them to your computer.
Step 3: Run iTunes and re-sync the recovered photos to your devices.
